How? I use something called Ion (PVD) plated and gold-filled metal for all of our gold products (chains and charms alike), and stainless steel for all silver products!

The ion plating process is different from traditional "plating" - literally vacuuming the gold particles to the base metal (stainless steel) creating these durable qualities. Gold filled jewelry requires a layer of gold much thicker than traditional plating methods yield, which is what makes it sturdy. This is typically used for permanent jewelry as well. I make sure everything is 18k gold so that all gold tones match.

Like any good piece of jewelry, how you treat it is how it'll treat you! While it's safe to wear anywhere, giving it a cleaning with a soft cloth from time to time and keeping it away from harsh chemicals is always a good idea.

For necklaces, ALWAYS get an odd number of charms so you have one in the "middle". 11 is likely going to go collarbone - collarbone so just be mindful... I personally wouldn't max 13!

Bracelets and accessories can have an even or odd number since there's no true middle. I've done purse chains with 9 charms and bracelets with 10 (though it heavily depends how many links are on the bracelet and how far you want them spread out!). Paperclip bracelets need less charms because I have to put them on every other link so they hang right.

Each charm is hand-attached using durable jump rings (not soldered) so that you can continue to customize your bracelet as your collection grows. While our pieces are waterproof and tarnish-proof, charms can loosen or detach if the bracelet snags, catches, or is pulled consistently.

Please avoid wearing your bracelet during activities that increase the risk of snagging (e.g. camping, heavy cleaning, sports, and so on). We’re happy to help with repairs for our local customers, but damage caused by wear and tear or snagging is not covered. If you are local, it's up to you to find me at an event for said repair.

All sales are final. Due to the custom and limited nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please review your order carefully before placing it.

However, we do reserve the right to make exceptions to this rule on a case by case basis.
